inaugural show announcement

Huy Nguyen does not have his hand on the pulse of visual culture, he is the blood that makes the pulse. Huy is what happens when you learn your aesthetics and sensibilities from the streets and from art school. Well versed in the visual vocabulary of installation, digital media, scribbling and garden gnomes, Mr. Nguyen will install a variety of works including drawings, painting, sculpture and site specific installation at LumpWest Project Space. The installation, titled “Sharpie Sity”, is described by Huy Nguyen as “a study in constructive vandalism”. show dates are 10/6-11/4. The opening reception is on Friday Oct 6 from 7-10pm.
